Mini Detective Club
We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.
Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite
them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from
the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.

Before You Set Off
Before You Set Off
Before you embark on your intriguing investigation around Corby, here are a few handy tips...
Easy to Navigate - The route is fully accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs, following pavements and well-maintained paths. Just a heads-up - there are a couple of inclines and some gravelly sections along the way.
Bring Your Furry Sidekicks - While much of the Trail winds through town, there are a couple of green spaces (Coronation Park and Central Park/Boating Lake) where your canine companions might get the chance for a run. Just check any local bylaws before you let them loose.
Parking Sorted! - You’ve got options close to the start point: Victoria Place (NN17 1QE) and Parkland Gateway, off Westcott Way (NN17 1QG), both just a minute’s walk away. More info here.
Need the Loo? – Facilities are available at:
The Library in the Cube (Clue 12), open 9 am - 6 pm (9 am - 5 pm on Saturdays, closed Sundays).
Willow Place Shopping Centre (Clue 11) - but these may close after shopping hours.
Lake View Café – customer use only, but perfect for a pit stop with a cuppa once you've solved the mystery.
Want to Make a Day of It?
Discover Corby’s Story – Pop into the Corby Heritage Museum (in the old village) to uncover the town’s past, or visit the East Carlton Park Steel Heritage Centre for a fascinating glimpse into the iron and steel industry that helped shape Corby.
Step Back in Time – Explore the grandeur of Kirby Hall, a stunning Elizabethan country house with beautiful gardens, or venture to the historic Rockingham Castle on the town’s outskirts. Just check opening times - it’s only open during Spring/Summer.
Year-Round Events – Keep an eye out for Corby Highland Gathering (Summer), Corby Pride, and, if you’re in it for the long haul, the legendary Corby Pole Fair… but you’ll have to wait until 2042 for the next one!
Happy Birthday! - 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of Corby being officially designated a 'New Town' so expect events celebrating this to be taking place throughout the year.
