The Mysterious Disappearance of Wanda's Spellbook
It's been 50 years since local witch, Wanda Waving, celebrated her 249th birthday with her closest friends, including Frank N Stein, Jake L N Hyde, and Walter Rice. But the morning after the party, Wanda discovered that her famous spellbook had been stolen! Since then, an unknown person has been using it to cast wicked spells on the people of Burley. Wanda needs your help, the top treasure seekers of the Exploration Society, to follow the clues she recently stumbled upon and find her book before her 300th birthday. With your help, she can whip up a seriously spooktacular birthday cake!
Treasure Hunt Through Burley Forest
Are you looking for an adventure to share with family and friends, or a fun day out with the kids in Burley? Then look no further than this self-guided Treasure Hunt through the village, forest, and footpaths of Burley. As you follow the trail, you'll come across sneaky clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments that will lead you to the buried treasure.
This circular Trail starts at the car park opposite Burley Cricket Club and takes you on a journey through the forest, footpaths, and village. Along the way, you'll learn about the history of witches and witchcraft and discover a little-known fact about Brusher Mills, the forest's snake catcher.
