Long, long ago, a group of thieves came to the town of Droitwich Spa, drawn by the rumours of hidden gold. But upon their arrival, they were disappointed to find only salt. Frustrated and determined to find riches, they left without realizing that the real treasure was buried beneath the salty surface. According to local legend, the treasure remains hidden to this day, waiting for the right adventurers to unearth it. Will YOU be the one to crack the clues and discover the trove?
Treasure Hunt Through Droitwich Spa
Embark on a thrilling self-guided Treasure Hunt through the historic town of Droitwich Spa, located on the banks of the River Salwarpe. As you follow the Trail route, you'll be tasked with solving sneaky clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and monuments to uncover the location of the buried treasure.
The Trail begins and ends near the Tourist Information office, and along the way, you'll learn about the town's fascinating history, particularly its connection to the salt industry. Keep in mind that some of the clues are located within the shopping centre, which is open from 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. Make sure to leave yourself enough time to solve these clues!
