Treasure Hunt Trail
Can You Find The Last Golden Stick of Rhubarb?
Back in the 12th century, there were two rich farmers; Doug and Phil Upperfield. In fact, they were so rich they wanted to share their wealth with the nation. Doug and Phil were huge lovers of treasure hunts, so they planted 100 golden sticks of rhubarb around the UK and published clues in local newspapers hinting at their locations. 99 of these sticks were quickly harvested but the 100th was never found! Many sowed seeds of doubt as to whether this final golden rhubarb ever existed… However, documents uncovered by IES (Intrepid Explorer Society) seem to include a map and a series of clues that will lead to its whereabouts! Are you ready to get your fingers dirty to find this rhubarb? We've been told that when it comes to exploring, you really are the cream of the crop so don't crumble out there!
