But fear not, brave treasure hunters, for the clues to its whereabouts have been unearthed, and it's up to YOU to track them down.

Starting at the Dorking Halls, you'll wind your way past the picturesque Mill Pond and through the bustling town centre, filled with character and charm.
As you solve the sneaky clues hidden on existing buildings, permanent features, and intriguing monuments, you'll uncover the location of the golden eggs. But beware-the journey won't be easy, and only the most daring and cunning adventurers will be able to solve the mystery and find the treasure.

This Trail is about a mile and a half long, and takes you around the town using pavements and footpaths. It takes in West Street, well known for its thriving antiques trade, where more than 20 shops represent over 100 dealers. Please allow one and a half to two hours to complete the Trail. There are a few narrow pavements and short inclines towards the end which shouldn't give too much trouble for light pushchair users. This however means that unfortunately, the Trail is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Recommended parking is in the car park behind the Dorking Halls on Reigate Road, RH4 1SG.
Transport
Dorking Deepdene Railway Station is about 7 minutes walk from the start of the Trail.
A bite to eat...
There are plenty of eateries to choose from as you walk through the town and the Trail finishes on the Heath which is a lovely spot for a picnic.
A place to let your dog off the lead?
The Trail passes through two large open spaces where a dog can run free.
