Things to do in Southwold - The Southwold Treasure Trail

Please Note: As much as we love people exploring on our Trails, now is not the right time. We want to help the NHS and protect all of you, so have decided to remove the facility for any Trail sales to be made on our website. As soon as social restrictions are relaxed, we'll make the Trails available again. If you would like to be informed as soon as this is, please drop us a note on the contact page.

Need a bit of retail therapy, or want to get a gift? You can still buy gift vouchers for future use.

There are some fantastic events in Southwold’s calendar, all of which are great times to visit this beautiful city. However, you may find that some of the Clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access on these occasions. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Southwold Visitor Information.

There are public toilets available towards the beginning and end of the Trail and the route passes several pubs and a few cafes along the way. The sea-front and Bartholomew Green make great picnic spots if the weather is nice!

Why not make a day of it at take a tour around Southwold Lighthouse, or stroll along the pier with an ice cream and discover the wacky wonders of the Under the Pier Show!
