The Bury St Edmunds Treasure Trail starts at:

Mustow Street
Bury St. Edmunds
Suffolk
IP33 1XL
England

Please Note:

This route is friendly for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

Bring your four-legged friends along! Please note that it is a busy town centre so dogs will need to be kept on leads.

This Trail takes you through the Abbey Gardens, which opens between 8am and 6:30pm.

The closest long stay pay and display car park to the Trail start point is at Ram Meadow, just a five minute walk away.

There are some fantastic events in Bury’s calendar, from the amazing Christmas Fayre and Bury Festival, to the Whitsun Fayre and Food and Drink Festival. Although these are great times to visit Bury, some of the Clues on this Trail may become obstructed or difficult to access. If you would like further information about event dates, please contact Bury St Edmunds Tourist Information.

There are public toilets available towards the beginning of the Trail and the route passes several pubs and a few cafes along the way. The Abbey Gardens make a great picnic spot if the weather is nice!

Why not make a day of it and look inside Bury St Edmunds Abbey  and St Edmundsbury Cathedral, or pay a visit to Moyse’s Hall Museum to learn more about the town’s early history!

The Bury St Edmunds Murder Mystery Treasure Trail should be purchased prior to leaving home. Once you have your Trail booklet in your hand you're good to go!

The easiest and quickest way to get the most up to date version of the Bury St Edmunds Treasure Trail is to order a download version off the website. You will instantly get a link to download a PDF file of the Trail for you to print at home. This can be done at any time of day or night for instant access.

If you would like a hard copy, then choose the printed option online and we will pop one in the post for you to be delivered within 2-3 working days.

If you are looking to do the Trail today and don't have a printer, we do have a couple of local retailers (use the search below) or why not purchase a download and go to a local library where you can print it off. If there are no other options though, with a little patience (due to scale and format) the Trail can be used on a tablet and at a push a phone.

Sometimes you just want to speak to a real person though, so call one of the team on 01872 263692, Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm.
