Don't Let the Colours Fade Forever in Shoreditch!
Naughty prankster Eamonn Trubble and his buddies are causing chaos across Shoreditch. In his latest plot, he's stuck his poor sister's art homework under a sinister device - the Colour Suction Engine - pinched from the crazy scientist next door, Dr Seymour Sparks. The engine is powering up, but once it hits the homework, the beam will keep growing until it sucks the colour out of everything in its radius. The cocktails, the fashion, even the graffiti will turn grey; we can't let that happen! Luckily, we've got a field agent working with a somewhat disgruntled Dr Sparks, who is desperate to retrieve his device. They've scattered intel across Shoreditch and Columbia Road that will lead to the deactivation code, but we need help from TOP Agents who can crack the Clues and save the day without being caught by Eamonn. The Trail starts at Shoreditch High Street Station and first takes a circular tour of Shoreditch's colourful streets. You will then set out along the charming Columbia Road, site of the famous Sunday flower market. The Trail ends at Arnold Circus, close to the start.

Navigating The Route
This is a circular Spy Mission around Shoreditch, Columbia Road, Arnold Circus and the surrounding streets, with Agents working to stop Eamonn Trubble and recover Dr Seymour Sparks’ stolen Colour Suction Engine before it drains the area of every last splash of colour.
The mission covers approximately 2 miles and should take around 2 hours to complete. You’ll begin near Shoreditch High Street station, sneak through New Inn Yard, Curtain Road, Rivington Street, Old Street, St Leonard’s Church, Columbia Road, side streets, gardens and Arnold Circus before looping back towards the station.
This Trail is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. The route includes busy urban streets, road crossings, narrow sections, steps at Arnold Circus and plenty of places where bikes, cars, buses and delivery vehicles may appear. Keep Mini Agents close and use marked crossings where available.
On Sundays before 3 pm, Columbia Road Flower Market brings extra colour, crowds and atmosphere to the mission. It’s a brilliant time to visit, but Agents may need extra patience and stealth skills.
Getting There
Time to assemble your Agents and save Shoreditch’s hue:
By car - This is a busy London route with the start right by Shoreditch High Street station, so public transport is the easiest way to reach the mission zone.
By public transport - Reach the perimeter zone via the London Overground. Leave Shoreditch High Street station, turn left to reach the junction with Bethnal Green Road (E1 6JU), and begin the mission nearby.
At the end, return to Shoreditch High Street station via Camlet Street and Chance Street.
Need the Loo?
Even elite Agents need a comfort break, especially when trying to stop a rogue colour-guzzling gadget. Unfortunately, there are no public toilets on the route, so it’s best to plan ahead before you begin the mission.
Bring Your Furry Sidekicks

This route includes busy pavements, road crossings, narrow streets, gardens, market areas and urban crowds. Keep canine recruits close throughout, especially around traffic, bicycles, Columbia Road on market days and the busier Shoreditch streets. Any dog attempting to chase enemy drones should be firmly reassigned to snack surveillance.
Food & Drink Stops
Saving Shoreditch from greyscale doom is hungry work.
There are plenty of places to stop for refreshments and stock up on snacks along the way, especially around Shoreditch, Columbia Road and the busier town streets. Pack supplies if you fancy ending with a picnic in Boundary Gardens once Eamonn’s colourful chaos has been brought under control.

Columbia Road Flower Market
Columbia Road is famous for its Sunday flower market, which runs before 3 pm. It’s the biggest splash of colour on the mission and a perfect extra if your Agents want flowers, bustle, independent shops and a proper Shoreditch sensory ambush.
St Leonard’s Church
St Leonard’s is known as the original Actors’ Church and is linked to the “bells of Shoreditch” from the Oranges and Lemons nursery rhyme. The churchyard also has an ancient shed at the back with modern murals, making it worth a little extra snoop.
Boxpark Shoreditch
The route passes Boxpark early on, making it a handy add-on for food, drinks or a post-mission recharge. Ideal if your squad needs to refuel before tackling more side streets, surveillance images and suspiciously artistic clues.
Boundary Gardens and Arnold Circus
The mission finishes around Arnold Circus, where Boundary Gardens makes a good place to pause at the end. With greenery, steps, views across the circus and a picnic-friendly feel, it’s a calm final debrief zone after all that urban code-cracking.
Shoreditch Street Art and Murals
Shoreditch is full of colour, which makes it exactly the sort of place worth saving from Eamonn’s dreadful device. Keep time after the mission for a wander through the surrounding streets, where murals, old graffiti and creative shopfronts turn the area into an open-air art hunt.
