Before You Begin Your Quest...
Non-Resident Visitors - Your hunt for Captain McFlakefingers misplaced gold will initially see you exploring around Freshwater Beach Holiday Park, open to non-residents, which means it's perfect for a holiday activity, or if you simply wish to explore the stunning Dorset coastline.
PLEASE NOTE: You do not have to go inside or pay a fee to solve any of the clues on this Trail.
Navigation - Along your quest route, you will encounter some steps, uneven roads and lanes / paths, a section along the beach and possible muddy sections across grass / fields that will prevent wheelchair and pushchair users from navigating the route. To select the right footwear for potential mud, click/tap here to check the latest weather forecast - and be prepared before you set off.
Bring Your Furry Friends - Dogs are welcome to join you on your quest. The route passes through the Holiday Park (which is dog friendly!), so we recommend keeping them on leads for those sections. You’ll pass across a dog-friendly beach later in the route, perfect for a doggy leg stretch and splash. They have also helpfully provided further details of local dog friendly beaches too. Click/tap here for details.
