The St Ives Treasure Trail starts at:

Street-An-Pol
St Ives
Cornwall
TR26 2NE
England

Please Note:

This Trail has not been marked as wheelchair friendly due to cobbled streets and a hill climb as well as stretches of narrow roads with no pavements. The route would be suitable for a light pushchair but please note, there are a few steps to climb to reach one of the Clues.

Bring your four-legged friends along! We advise keeping them on a lead due to busy roads, especially in peak season.

The closest pay and display car parks to the Trail start point are located at The Station Car Park or the Stennack Laundrette - both about a 5 minute walk away. There are only limited spaces in these car parks so you may wish to park at Trenwith Car Park and use the shuttle bus service into town. Alternatively, why not park at St Erth or Lelant Saltings Railway stations and take the scenic "The St Ives Bay Line" train journey to the start of your Trail adventure?

There are a few dates in the St Ives calendar when some of the clues may be obscured or difficult to access - New Year’s Eve, Feast Day (first Monday after 3rd February), May Day (first Monday in May) and Lifeboat Day (held in late August) are the most prominent of these. If you are unsure as to whether there is an event occurring that may hinder your Trail experience, please contact the local Tourist Information office.

There are public toilets available at various points throughout the Trail and the route passes several pubs, restaurants and a few cafes along the way.

Why not make a day of it and visit the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum for some arts and culture or spend your afternoon with your toes in the sand and an ice cream in hand!

The St Ives Murder Mystery Treasure Trail should be purchased prior to leaving home. Once you have your Trail booklet in your hand you're good to go!

The easiest and quickest way to get the most up to date version of the St Ives Treasure Trail is to order a download version off the website. You will instantly get a link to download a PDF file of the Trail for you to print at home. This can be done at any time of day or night for instant access.

If you would like a hard copy, then choose the printed option online and we will pop one in the post for you to be delivered within 2-3 working days.

If you are looking to do the Trail today and don't have a printer, we do have a couple of local retailers (use the search below) or why not purchase a download and go to a local library where you can print it off. If there are no other options though, with a little patience (due to scale and format) the Trail can be used on a tablet and at a push a phone.

Sometimes you just want to speak to a real person though, so call one of the team on 01872 263692, Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm.
