The annual Cowal Highland Gathering was in full swing, with bagpiper Woody Wynd and his partner Millie Tree-Tatou getting ready to perform in the bagpipe competition. Suddenly, the lights went out and in the darkness, a kerfuffle was heard! When the power was restored, both Woody and Millie were discovered collapsed backstage. Chief Inspector Laura Norder and her diligent team have worked around the clock, gathering evidence and collating a list of potential suspects. They now need help cracking the Clues and have asked for you - our GREATEST Detectives - to follow this trail of evidence. Can you work out who the culprit is and what evidence would lead them to the crime scene?

The Trail starts on the seafront at Alexandra Parade and leads you on a scenic circuit. As you solve the clues, you will explore Castle Gardens, the promenade, the High Kirk, the town centre and some of the town's residential streets with their splendid Victorian architecture.
