Top secret!
We've got a mission for you in
Warminster
Rogue Alien, Blah Blah Block, has escaped to Earth back in the 1960s and has been in hiding ever since. He knows that those who seek him could zoom in at any time and drag him back to his planet, so he has hatched a cunning plan. Blah Blah has installed a device that, once activated, will destroy the Morpheus Project - a secret Alien Portal, hidden beneath the Lake Pleasure Gardens. As an elite and secret spy unit attached to APE (the Alien Portal Executive), we have been tasked with setting up a team of skilled Agents to thwart Blah Blah Block's scheme. We need YOU - our slipperiest spies - to solve the Clues in our intel, obtain the code, deactivate the device and keep the Morpheus Portal intact. Stay alert - don't let Blah Blah intercept you.

Navigating The Route
This is a circular Spy Mission around Warminster's UFO-linked market town, with Agents helping to stop rogue alien Blah Blah Block, who has hidden a device beneath the Lake Pleasure Gardens and must be stopped before he destroys the Morpheus Portal.
The operation covers approximately 3 miles and should take around 2.5 hours to complete. You'll begin at Central Car Park, investigate the heart of Warminster, pass through the Lake Pleasure Gardens, follow a lakeside path, visit the grounds of the Minster Church and loop back to the area near the start car park, which is immediately adjacent to the final clue.
This Trail is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. The route is urban, with pavement sections, road crossings, a park and a lakeside path.
Take great care of moving cars in and around the car park and when crossing roads. The mission uses several road crossings, including a zebra crossing and a pelican crossing, so keep Mini Agents close while you gather the intel.
Getting There
By car: Head for Central Car Park (BA12 9BT), where the mission begins.
By public transport: Make your way to Central Car Park (BA12 9BT) to begin the operation. The circular route returns to the area near the start car park once Blah Blah Block's plot has been foiled.
Need the Loo?
Toilets can be found near the start, at Clues 05 and 17, giving your squad a few well-timed comfort-stop options during the mission.
Bring Your Furry Sidekicks
If you're bringing four-legged field agents, keep them close and mission-ready. 🐾
The route includes a car park, several road crossings, pavement sections, a park and a lakeside path, so leads are sensible around traffic, the lake and busier town sections.
Food & Drink Stops
Alien-interception work is hungry business. There are plenty of chances to pick up supplies or stop for snacks as you go.
You can also pack a picnic to enjoy by the lake at Clue 05, and there is a lakeside area where you can stay and relax or play for a while before returning to the route.
Want to Make a Day of It?
Lake Pleasure Gardens
The route passes through the Lake Pleasure Gardens, the very place where Blah Blah Block has hidden his troublesome device. It's a great spot to slow the operation down, picnic by the lake and stay to relax or play for a while before returning to the route. The gardens also host a number of family events throughout the year, including 'Inspire', a live music event at the end of July, and the 'Warminster Wobble' at the beginning of the summer.
Chapel of St Lawrence
The Chapel of St Lawrence adds a proper slice of local history to the mission. It was founded in the 13th century and came on the market in 1575, when it was purchased by someone mentioned on the Trail - exactly the kind of historical intel Agents should keep an eye on.
Minster Church Grounds
The mission goes into the grounds of the Minster Church and on to the back, where another clue is placed. Once you've extracted the intel you need, it's worth taking a quiet moment here before pressing on with the hunt for the code.
