Before You Set Off
Before You Set Off
Navigating The Route
This is a circular investigation through Spitalfields, Liverpool Street and the surrounding lanes, with detectives following pavements and pedestrian routes as they track down crucial evidence.
The route is mostly on flat, well-surfaced city streets, making it generally suitable for wheelchairs, but due to busy areas, narrow sections and some trickier navigation points, it is not suitable for pushchairs. Stay alert when crossing roads and keep your team close as you move through busier parts of the investigation.
Getting There
Time to assemble your squad and report for duty:
Liverpool Street Station (EC2M 4NQ) - Your investigation begins at the top of the escalator leading to Bishopsgate (WEST exit).
The area is extremely well connected by Underground (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan lines), Overground and national rail services.
Need the Loo?
Even top detectives need a comfort break during a long case!
Public toilets can be found at Liverpool Street Station and in Spitalfields Market along the route.
There are also plenty of cafés, food spots and markets throughout the area - perfect for a quick refuel while reviewing your evidence.
Bring Your Furry Sidekicks
Four-legged detectives are welcome on the case but as it's mostly urban streets and pedestrian areas, it’s not ideal for canine companions - you'll also need to keep leads handy near roads and in busy areas.
