More Information:

Navigating The Route

This is a circular spy mission around Broadstairs’ town centre, parks and seafront, with agents following pavements, pathways and coastal routes as they track down the stolen manuscript and expose the C.A.V.E.R.N. operative.

The route includes narrow pavements, a few steps and some uneven sections, so while it is pushchair-friendly in parts, smaller agents may need assistance in places.

⚠️ Important: You will be travelling along busy streets, tight pavements and seafront paths, so agents should stay alert at all times, walk in single file where needed and keep younger operatives under close supervision. Extra care is required near roads and along the clifftop sections.

Getting There

Time to deploy your agents and begin the mission:

By car: Albion Street Car Park (CT10 1NE) is your recommended undercover base and starting point.

By public transport: Broadstairs is well served by train and bus routes, with the town centre and start point within easy walking distance from the station.

Your mission begins near Holy Trinity Church, just across from the car park on Nelson Place - so step into position and begin scanning for your first piece of intel immediately.

Need the Loo?

Even elite agents need a quick comfort break!

Toilets can be found at Croft’s Place car park near Clue 06, within Victoria Gardens around Clue 13, and again near the end of your mission, giving you a few well-timed opportunities to pause and regroup.

Bring Your Furry Sidekicks

Four-legged agents are welcome on this mission.

With a mix of town streets, gardens and seafront paths, it’s a great outing for canine companions - just keep leads handy near roads, crowds and clifftop edges.

Food & Drink Stops

Agents, you’ll find plenty of safe zones to refuel!

There are lots of cafés, shops and eateries in the town centre before Clue 07 and again along the seafront after Clue 11, making it easy to grab supplies as you go.

You might even want to bring a picnic to enjoy by the sea or in the gardens while reviewing your intel.

Want to Make a Day of It?

Seafront Views and Coastal Atmosphere

Broadstairs offers classic seaside scenery, with sandy bays, clifftop paths and open views adding drama to your mission.

Parks, Gardens and Hidden Corners

Victoria Gardens and other green spaces provide a quieter stretch of the mission - perfect for regrouping or spotting suspicious activity.

Dickens, Stories and Secret Passages

With strong links to Charles Dickens, Broadstairs is packed with literary history - and, if the rumours are true, a network of hidden tunnels beneath your feet… just the sort of place a shadowy agent might disappear.

Mini Secret Agent Club

We have three super duper themed Clubs for your child to enjoy as part of their Treasure Trail experience.

Perfect for 4-8 year olds, the concept behind the Clubs is that your child will get a bundle of goodies to excite them about their forthcoming Trail experience, something to keep them entertained whilst travelling to and from the Trail, and something to be given on completion of the Trail as a keepsake.
