The start square in W3W ///jolly.puns.ozone drops you in the centre of the Saltwell Park Hedge Maze. Make sure you're using satellite view so that you can see all the maze hedges. Then follow the directions in the clue to lead you to the right exit. Click on the square in W3W that this exit is in and the middle word of that W3W address is the surname of a suspect to cross off.

The W3W address ///count.pump.rooms takes you to the folly/castle in Roundhay park. Following the directions in the clue leads you down to lakeside along the top of Waterlook Lake. Left along the path along this top section is a red lifebuoy. The sign next to it has the number you need.

The X feature in the sketch is shown via the first link above. It's Stuttgart Garden by the Bute Park Visitor Centre. Following the arm of the X South East leads you to the large long building with lots of solar panels on top. Zoom in to make the name of the concert hall appear.

The McGrigor Memorial Obelisk is towards the river side of Duthie Park, and due south of the bandstand in the middle. Using W3W satellite view, one of the squares at the obelisk has the address ///dogs.squad.into The three words of the address of the square you land on 10 up and 2 left is what you need to solve the clue.

The lines by the tortoises are on a large sundial on the west side of the park with the point of the sundial at trendy.brave.trails The chess board is in the more formal gardens in the southern part of the park at patrol.with.lift The island near the top of the pond in Kyoto Garden is in square scenes.bleat.large

To view all the symbols, you may need to zoom in on the park. The symbols within the park mark the following: Barrow Park Cenotaph, Bug House, Rose Garden Playground, Jubilee Gardens, Full of Noises, and Rose Garden. The first letter of the first word of each place is what you need to solve the clue.

On the back of one of the gateposts at Richmond Gate, at the western end of Sawyer's Hill, there is a plaque with distances to the other gates in the park. The gate furthest away is the one you need.

The Prince of Wales Bridge crosses the River Kelvin just up from the bandstand. The statue of Thomas Carlyle is near the west end of the bridge. The link above takes you to one of the squares this statue is in. You'll need to click on all four squares to get the 12 words you need to solve the clue.
