To celebrate National Storytelling Week 2024, we tasked you with creating a brand-new backstory for a Treasure Trail! The winner would see their story transformed into our latest Virtual Trail puzzle, plus nine runners-up would win some goodies too.

Thanks to everyone who entered - we really enjoyed reading all your fantastic stories. The standard was very high which made our job of whittling down the entries to just one winner and nine runners-up really difficult! However, after much deliberation and re-reading of stories, we got there in the end. We're thrilled to now present our winners...

  • There is one star prize on offer. The winning story will be used as the basis for a Virtual Treasure Trail to be released for February half-term. The winner will also receive a £10 Treasure Trails Digital Gift Voucher and a copy of the book Pirate Academy: New Kid on Deck’.
  • There are nine runner-up prizes available. Each runner-up will receive a £10 Treasure Trails Digital Gift Voucher and a copy of the book Pirate Academy: New Kid on Deck.
  • A Treasure Trails Gift Card can be used to purchase any products on the Treasure Trails website, up to the value stated.
  • Winners will be selected by the team at Treasure Trails based on their favourite entries.
  • Prizes cannot be swapped or exchanged.
  • The judges’ decision is final.
  • Open to UK residents, excluding employees of Treasure Trails.
  • The closing date for entries is 11:59pm on Sunday 4th February 2024. Any entries submitted after this time will not be considered by the judges.
    Entry is via the entry forms on this page only.
  • Only one entry per person/email address.
  • Winners will be notified by Friday 9th January 2024.
  • The winners’ names and entries will be shared on our social media, website and emails, and will also be available upon request.
