    City of Durham Murder Mystery

This Trail is 2 miles in length. It will take you around two hours to complete.

Unfortunately it's not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs as it is steep and cobbled in places. There is also a section following a stepped woodland path.

It's recommended that you wear strong footwear for this Trail.

The Durham Gilesgate Trail starts and ends in the Market Place. You will explore the colourful houses in Gilesgate, an old church, ancient woodland and along the riverside. There are wonderful views of the Cathedral and Castle along this Trail.

There is a wide range of places to get refreshments along this Trail including tea-rooms, restaurants and pubs. There are public toilets inside the indoor market in the Market Place.
