News, ideas and inspiration from us in these strangest of times.
Hello and welcome to the sixth issue of TT Strange Times!
Regular readers of TT Strange Times will hopefully know by now that we wanted to offer a fun resource for puzzles, games, ideas and information to help us all through these uncertain times.
It’s well-known that the lockdown has been very difficult for many people, in many different ways. Each issue of TT Strange Times has a different theme and for this sixth edition, we wanted to look at the importance of sport and generally keeping active, as exercise is well-known for being good for mental as well as physical well-being. Therefore, our current issue is dedicated to…
Sport for Health
Although, sadly, recent events have forced the cancellation of so many key sporting events this summer, including Wimbledon, the Euro football championships and the Olympic Games, to name but three, these will all take place next year; something to look forward to!
However, we have taken specific inspiration from Wimbledon and the Olympics, as well as famous British sporting venues, for this issue of TT Strange Times. As a celebration of all things sporting, here’s what’s coming up in this edition…
For our Inspirational People for Inspirational Times section, we look at British Paralympian Lauren Steadman, who, to date, has competed in three consecutive Olympic Games.
Moving outside for our dose of FRESH AIR FUN, what better idea could we recommend as a way of getting fresh air and exercise, and escaping the four walls of home than a Treasure Trail?
For Getting YUMMY With It… No need to go hungry whilst out and about and the restaurants and cafes are closed – go prepared and pack up a picnic!
Our TOP Five… this time around looks at our choice of the best sport-themed films.
Once you are done with that, do you fancy having a go at this issue’s competition? It’s an I-Spy challenge!
Submit your entries to us and the best could win a gift voucher to use on your next Trailing adventure.
As always, we hope you enjoy – and don’t forget to share this with friends and family. #TTStrangeTimes
Stay alert – and STAY SAFE!
