Welcome to the Third Edition of TT Strange Times!

TT Strange Times Issue 3 - Keeping Families Entertained

News, ideas and inspiration from us in these strangest of times.

Hello and welcome to this, our third edition of “TT Strange Times”!

While we too are at home for the time being, we wanted to create a fun resource for puzzles, games, ideas and information to help us all through these uncertain times.

Every 2 weeks, we are sending you a brand spanking new fresh issue, each with a different theme. For this third edition, the theme of course has to be a celebration of…

The 75th Anniversary of VE Day!

TT Strange Times: 75 years since Spitfires were last flown in anger.

We know there were going to be many celebrations of this momentous event – which have – unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak but that shouldn’t stop us from holding our own celebrations right here.

To that end, we will adopt a wartime Winston Churchill type resolution to make the very best of this situation!

We may not be able to fight them on the beaches right now but we will playfight them on the carpets and continue to clap them on our doorsteps.

In the meantime, for this issue of TT Strange Times, we will find out about the sneaky life and times of Virgina Hall, an American World War II spy in our Inspirational People for Inspirational Times segment.

After that, Let’s Get Moving about a bit again as we learn about wartime activities in our Indoor Arena and continue with part three of “The Treasure Trails Garden Games Modern Pentathlon for 2020” events.

We’ve also got a Wartime inspired recipe for you using typical rations for our Getting YUMMY With It feature.

TT Strange Times: Keep your eyes on the skies as you head to the air raid shelters...

We’ve got some further literature recommendations for you with Our TOP Five Wartime Reads – written around the time of, or about the Second World War.

For this edition’s competition, we want you to come up with a large little something to commemorate VE Day in your own homes, either the garden or indoors and as always, don’t forget to…

Submit your entries to us and you could win a gift voucher to use on your next Trailing adventure.

Finally, we’ve racked our own brains while cooped up here in our TT bunker, to come up with our own VE Day puzzles for you to solve – but as always, some are easier than others…

Please don’t forget to spread the love as always by sharing this with friends and family. #TTStrangeTimes

Stay strong – and we’ll see you soon!

Editor-in-Chief, Tristan.
