YOUR MISSION
Secret Agent, Ima Mole, has been assassinated whilst attempting to foil a deadly plot by evil villain, Baron Ivor Grudge. Grudge believes priceless jewels are buried beneath Selby Abbey and in a desperate bid to get his greedy mitts on these beauties, he has planted a bomb. To prevent the destruction of a historical 'Yorkshire gem', and save the lives of countless innocent people, we need you to reveal the code to deactivate the bomb!!
Selby Spy Mystery Trail
The market town of Selby is dominated by its stunning 11th century Abbey, which is reputed to be the birth place of Henry I, son of William the Conqueror. Along with the Abbey, the pretty park, the thriving shopping centre and bustling weekly open air markets ensure Selby offers something for everyone.
The Trail will lead you around this attractive town and prompt you to sample more of the scenic surrounding area. The Horseshoe Walk, along Selby Canal, is perfect for a gentle stroll. The more energetic may prefer to venture along the Trans Pennine Trail, a route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. For those with cars, or for those simply wishing to explore further afield, there are many small, picturesque villages in the area. Many are steeped in history and are often home to the all-important friendly country pub!
This circular Spy Trail is approximately 2 miles in length. Set mostly on flat footpaths, it is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
