Its small but attractive high street hosts the popular Thursday market and on the first Saturday of each month the Showground is home to the famous East Riding Farmers' Market. Well worth a visit for excellent local produce.
Visitors to this lovely town will be impressed by its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our circular Trail provides many opportunities for you to experience the celebrated Yorkshire hospitality, as the route directs you past a fine selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Alternatively, why not pack a picnic and relax by the canal?
If the Trail simply serves to whet your appetite for more Yorkshire Wolds delights, then Driffield is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area. Burton Agnes and Sledmere House are both beautiful stately homes not to be missed. Bridlington and Scarborough are just a stone's throw away if a trip to the seaside is next on your agenda.
This Murder Mystery Walking Trail is set around the centre of this old market town. It is just over 2 miles long and will take approximately 2.5 hours to complete. As the Trail is set mostly on flat footpaths normal walking shoes will suffice. This Trail is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
