YOUR CASE
Workmen renovating an old cottage in Bridlington found an old rum bottle hidden away at the back of the fireplace. Inside the bottle was an old treasure map. Research shows that the map belonged to Peg Leg Pete the Pirate, who retired to the cottage in 1713. The map is believed to show the location of his buried ill-gotten gains on a small island off the East Yorkshire Coast. Can you solve the clues and find the location of Pete's haul?
Bridlington Old Town Treasure Hunt

Along the Trail, there are many fascinating old buildings, untouched by development, inspiring you to return time and again. With so much on offer, in and around the area, you’ll undoubtedly get side tracked and will want to allow extra time for rest stops and other delightful distractions. The dramatic cliff top parkland of Sewerby Hall and Gardens, the famous Spa Bridlington, recently renovated and revamped, and the exquisite scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds villages are all right on the doorstep. So, why not venture further afield to sample more of the bewitching regional attractions? The family will be sure to love it.
