  • YOUR CASE

In the 18th Century, George Moneybags was the Treasurer of the Bromsgrove Guild, a famous and rich company of craftsmen. One ill-fated evening his house was raided and thieves escaped with thousands of gold coins and ornate gold and silverware. Legend has it that the stolen goods were buried on an island never to be seen again. Recently a map of the island was found which may help you solve the mystery of the missing treasure.

    Bromsgrove

Bromsgrove is an industrial town caught up in the urban spill over from Birmingham, but it does hold some interest for the casual visitor with several very nice attractions just outside the town to try out.

This is a Treasure Hunt Trail.

The Trail starts and finishes in the beautiful Sanders Park on the edge of town and takes in many places of interest in the town itself. The walk is not long or arduous and is suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and all ages. The Trail will take approximately 2 hours to complete and is about 1.5 miles long.

The parking and the start point are in the same place!
