Winner of the Bewdley Maths Trail

Lucky Joseph Hadley was first out of the hat when we did the draw for the Bewdley Maths Trail this week.  He wins a free Trail of his choice from the Herefordshire and Worcestershire catalogues and we hope he has as much fun with it as he did with the Maths Trail.  

When Joseph and his family submitted their answer to the Maths Trail they commented : "The Trail was great family fun. It was a great way to spend a day outside in the sun trying to find the murderer!!! We hope we got the right answer and would love it if you decided to do any more. Great work to all involved!"  And lovely comments like that have to be shared - right?

We had another comment about the Maths Trail which was interesting and we'd like to know what YOU think. Jo Haycock, manager of the Tourist Information Centre that was selling the Trail suggested that when we did a Maths Trail again, we should rename it as she said "both children and adults were put off by the title of the treasure hunt as they were on their summer holidays and didn't want to be doing maths!"  She added though, that the feedback they got from people who did do the Trail was that a brilliant time was had by all!
