  • YOUR CASE

For years The Robham Gang plundered coaches and terrorised travellers on the highways from shore to shire ... then one day they disappeared without trace! Some say that their loot still lies buried at one of their favourite taverns. Is the stash lost forever or can you solve the clues to find the gang's hidden booty? Solve the mystery and you could win a prize!

    Salisbury 2 Historic Inns

This themed Treasure Hunt explores Salisbury’s inns and alehouses giving a colourful perspective of the medieval city with some intriguing historical and perhaps unexpected insights.

This circular walking Trail (1.6 miles) starts at the Tourist Information Centre on Fish Row. Whether you arrive by car, train or bus the centre is well sign posted. There are car parks throughout the city and the Park and Ride is convenient and economical. Level terrain and lowered kerbs suit both pushchairs and wheelchairs (slight deviations may be required at times). The city’s grid road layout creates many crossroads so please take care and use marked pedestrian crossings wherever possible.

There's a venue to suit all tastes in Salisbury which is said to have over 100 pubs within a square mile! So allow around 1.5 hours plus time to pause for refreshments in a cosy beamed lounge or in a sunny courtyard.
