Following a tip off to a local newspaper accusing a famous professor at the university of taking backhanders, police have announced that his body has been found in suspicious circumstances. Police have also confirmed that the professor’s diary is missing. If you can uncover the truth about who took the professor’s life and with what weapon they did so, you could win a prize!

The Lampeter Trail

Lampeter town has a very cosmopolitan feel and has been home to a university since 1822. Famously, it is only predated by Oxford and Cambridge. Trinity University College and the University of Wales Lampeter are working together to create the "University of Wales Trinity Saint David" during 2010. Lampeter, previously with an agricultural history, now hosts a variety of small specialist shops, a couple of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, public houses and plenty of sporting facilities. Within the library, there is a small museum that illustrates the history of the town. If you visit during July, make sure you visit the Lampeter Food Festival or a month later, visit the Lampeter Agricultural Show. Lampeter is ideally situated for easy access to all of West Wales. We currently have Trails in New Quay, Aberaeron and Aberystwyth to the north and Newcastle Emlyn, Cardigan, Fishguard and St David's to the west.

This Murder Mystery Trail leads you around Lampeter town centre and dips into the edge of the University grounds to visit the remains of one of Lampeter's oldest buildings, the Castle. Most of the Trail is accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs - pavements and footpaths, but regrettably, not the area of the War Memorial (one clue).
