Cardigan
Cardigan is a bustling market town just inside the Ceredigion county border. Situated on the mouth of the river Teifi in times long past it was a prosperous and healthy port with upwards of 300 sailing ships registered there. Today, visitors come for the scenery, the beaches the walks around the countryside and the rivers. Cardigan Bay has been designated a Special Area of Conservation - an area where dolphins and porpoises can regularly be seen. The Teifi Marshes National Nature Reserve is close by and well worth a visit.
The architecture of Cardigan is of Georgian and Victorian buildings with plenty to see and to do. This Trail takes you around the town and it's outskirts.
This circular Murder Mystery Trail is about 3 miles long and will take about 2 hours. There are a number of steep slopes and 2 flights of steps. It is suitable for pushchairs, but regrettably not wheelchairs.
