YOUR CASE

Police have been called to investigate the murder of the potty Professor. From an innocent looking accident in his laboratory it appears all is not what it seems. Suspicious lethal liquids have been found in test tubes and beakers that should have contained plain coloured water. If you can help to solve the murder and with what weapon they did it, you could be in line to win a cash prize!

The Aberystwyth Trail

Generally regarded as the capital of Mid Wales, Aberystwyth is an historic market town, administrative centre and holiday resort. It sits at the mouth of the River Ystwyth - hence its name and the River Rheidol. Aberystwyth has a couple of claims to fame. It is home to one of the World's largest camera obscuras and also home to the longest funicular railway in Britain. Aberystwyth has a pier and wide promenade that stretches from the cliff railway at Constitution Hill at the northern edge of town to the harbour at the southern end. There is also a university, the remains of a castle and the National Library of Wales, for which during the war years was used to house some of the countries most treasured art collections and cultural treasures. Near to the tourist information centre is the Ceredigion Museum which, if you get a chance, is recommended viewing. A visit to Aberystwyth is a must.

This Murder Mystery Trail is 2 miles long and will take approximately 2 hours. The Trails starts and returns to the pier on the sea front. Part of the Trail takes you to the castle remains and war memorial. Whilst the direct route is via a flight of steps, there is an alternate route for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
