This circular murder mystery trail is centred around the main streets of Kelso. The trail begins and ends at the town square which has been central to the town for centuries. Kelso is the 4th largest town in the Borders and contains some fantastic Georgian buildings as well as the famous abbey ruins, and cobbled streets.
This trail is mainly conducted on concrete paths and has no steep uphill sections. One clue is up 3 steps, so isn't accessible to wheelchair users. A selection of clues are within the abbey grounds, so it may be soft under foot. The abbey is closed on Thursday and Friday, and closes at 6.30 in the summer and 4.30 in the winter.
