The north-east of Scotland is a hidden gem in the UK. This corner of Scotland is home to more castles than anywhere in the UK and contains over half the distilleries in all of Scotland whilst boasting some of Scotland's finest coastal scenery.

The North-East Trail Catalogue now has 20 Trails. There are 8 Murder Mystery Trails - in Aberdeen, Stonehaven, Old Aberdeen, Braemar, Aboyne, Huntly, Grantown-on-Spey and Elgin, 4 Spy Trails in Aviemore, Inverurie, Forres and Aberdeen's West End and 8 Buried Treasure Trails in Banchory, Ballater, Banff, the Mearns Coastal Trail, Kingussie, Ellon, Stonehaven Heritage Trail and the Duthie Park Trail.
