The Teignmouth Trail

The delightful town of Teignmouth in South Devon is a treat to explore! Situated on the Teign Estuary along an unspoilt stretch of red sandstone coast, Teignmouth has always been popular as a fashionable English seaside resort, with its variety of Georgian and Victorian buildings and its magnificent Esplanade along the sea front. Explore the history of its boat building and maritime past, enjoy the fun of a traditional English Pier with its amusement arcades and rides, or simply sit and soak in the atmosphere and sunshine from one of the many street cafes. The trail takes you from town to seafront to stunning hilltop panoramic views of South Devon within a short distance, which makes Teignmouth truly a delight to explore!

The trail is approximately 1 1/2 miles long and takes around 2 hours to complete. The trail is suitable for both pushchairs and wheelchair users, with a suggested alternative route to avoid a small flight of steps.
