The Cockington Trail

*Please note that if you order Trails from more than one region they may be posted out separately.

No visit to the South West is complete without a visit to Cockington, near Torquay. Known the world over, the famous thatched Domesday Book village nestles deep within a hidden valley, right in the heart of Torbay, home of the English Riviera. Stepping back in time, the village is well served with Tea Rooms, Gift Shops, a fine Lutyens designed public house and the 14th Century Forge. Take a leisurely stroll or a horse-drawn carriage ride and explore the grounds of Cockington Park, where Agatha Christie used to play as a child. Discover the unusual cricket pitch, the early Norman church and the manor house of Cockington Court, making sure you take a moment to pause and embrace the peace and history.....

The Cockington Murder Mystery Trail can also be purchased from the Cockington Gallery at Cockington Court, where the trail starts. It is approximately 1 mile long and will take around one and a half hours to complete. The trail takes you around the grounds of Cockington Court and nearby Cockington village. Alternative routes are given for wheelchair and pushchair users.
