Competition Terms and Conditions

1. This competition is open to all purchasers of a First Day Southwest Ticket except the Promoter’s employees or members of their immediate family, agents or any other person who is connected with the creation or administration of this competition.

2. By entering this competition the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and to be bound by them and by any other requirements set out in any related promotional material. The competition is governed by English Law and any matters relating to the competition will be resolved under English Law and the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction. The Promoter will not be held responsible for any entrant entering this competition unlawfully.

3. To enter the competition, purchase a First Day Southwest Bus Ticket from a First Devon and Cornwall outlet.  Receive a free Hunt for the Highwayman's Gold Trail and solve all the clues along the 14/18 bus route. Insert the answer to each clue into the crossword grid on the back page according to the clue number. Then insert the contents of each of the shaded squares into the keycode according to the clue number. This is the solution to the Trail. Complete the form on the relevant page of the Treasure Trails website to submit your answer. Only one entry per Trail is allowed, and entry is only accepted with a valid bus ticket number.

4. This competition will run annually. Each year a winner will be drawn from all correct entries received for the year up to 1st of April.  If no correct entries are received for any one year  the prize will be carried forward to the following year.  The result of a draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. The winner will be notified at the address or telephone number given in the contact details within 1 day of the closing date. Any entrant may check the result of the competition on the Promoter’s website:
www.treasuretrails.co.uk.

6. The prize for the competition will be a treasure chest containing £250 in cash.  The Promoter will be responsible for the delivery costs of the prize to the winner.

7. Acceptance of the prize by the prize-winner gives the Promoter the right to use the prize-winner’s name and personal photograph for promotional purposes, both immediately after their win and in the future, unless prohibited by law.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition, for any reason, before the designated closing date. The Promoter also reserves the right at its sole discretion to extend the closing date.

9. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability of the prize offered. Except for liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Promoter, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods by any person to the prize-winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying the prize-winner, or in connection with any of the competitions promoted by the Promoter.

10. Data Protection Notice: Any personal data that you supply to the Promoter will be used by the Promoter (i) to administer the competition; and (ii) (unless you tell us that you prefer not to receive direct marketing) to contact you about other Treasure Trails Ltd products which the Promoter considers may be of interest to you. Your details will not be sold or passed to a third party.

11. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time.
