The Prize

Overall Winner: A family weekend break to Edniburgh for four people, including flights from Newquay, two nights accommodation, and four tickets to the theatre. The total value of the prize is approximately £700.

5 Runners-Up: A Hall for Cormwall Family pack of four tickets to a show of your choice. 

Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. It is open to all participants of the Hall for Cornwall Aladdin Pantomine Trail except the Promoter’s employees or members of their immediate family, agents or any other person who is connected with the creation or administration of this competition.  

2. By entering this competition the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and to be bound by them and by any other requirements set out in any related promotional material. The competition is governed by English Law and any matters relating to the competition will be resolved under English Law and the Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction. The Promoter will not be held responsible for any entrant entering this competition unlawfully.

3.  To enter the competition, solve the 6 clues on one of the six Aladdin Trails across Cornwall.  The answer to each clue is the location of a lantern.  Find the 6 lanterns and note down the messages each one contains.  The six messages will lead Aladdin to the location of a lost cave. Enter the co-ordinates of the cave on the respective entry form on the Treasure Trails website.  Correct entries will be entered into the prize draw for that location.  Participants are allowed to enter as many Trails as they want but can only win one of the Trail locations.  Only one entry per address is allowed.

4. All entries must be received by 1 December 2007.  On 2 December 2007, one winner will be drawn from each of the locations.  The winner will be notified at the address or telephone number given in the contact details within 1 day of the draw. Any entrant may check the result of the competition on the Promoter’s website:

5.  The six winners will compete against each other in a fun head to head competition on Lemon Quay on 8 December 2007.  The winner of this competition will win the overall prize and the five losers will receive the runners-up prize.

6. The overall prize for the competition will be a family weeknd in Edinburgh.  The prize is for 4 people and includes return flights from Newquay to Edinbugh,   accommodation in a 4 star hotel,  and theatre tickets to a show in Edinburgh.  The value of the prize is approximately £700.  There is no cash alternative, and the prize must be taken between the 3rd January and 31st March 2008.  The runners-up prize is a family pack of four tickets to see a show of their choice at the Hall for Cornwall.  Tickets are subject to availablility. 

7. Acceptance of the prizes by the prize-winners gives the Promoter the right to use the prize-winner’s name and personal photograph for promotional purposes, both immediately after their win and in the future, unless prohibited by law.

8. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition, for any reason, before the designated closing date. The Promoter also reserves the right at its sole discretion to extend the closing date.

9. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability of the prize offered. Except for liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Promoter, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods by any person to the prize-winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying the prize-winner, or in connection with any of the competitions promoted by the Promoter.

10. Data Protection Notice: Any personal data that you supply to the Promoter will be used by the Promoter (i) to administer the competition; and (ii) (unless you tell us that you prefer not to receive direct marketing) to contact you about other Treasure Trails Ltd products which the Promoter considers may be of interest to you. Your details will not be sold or passed to a third party.

11. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time.
