Testimonials

Katy - Norfolk

Really enjoyed the Great Yarmouth Treasure Trail, and will definitely be  purchasing more !!! Great value !!!

Lynda - Wiltshire

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great day out on the Bath Trail. Hope to do more soon.

Sarah - Wrexham

The trail provided an ideal day's entertainment for me and my 12 year old daughter, and we saw a lot more of Horncastle than if we'd just wandered around aimlessly.

Jim Leith - Angus, Scotland

Fantastic, great couple of hours entertainment for all of the family! Would heartily recommend this to anyone as it also allows you to see the whole of the village which you would not necessarily normally see. Excellent!!!

The Wade Family - Sussex

It was very cleverly done and we as a family of 4 (2 children-9 & 11) all enjoyed having a think and exploring the history of Lyndhurst. We will definately do another!

Mark - Suffolk

Absolutley Fantastic, the trail made use see what Cockington had to offer; a wonderful idea. Thanks very much. I am telling all my friends about it.

Carole and Andy - Dorset

We are now hooked and have completed 4 Trails now. We are a couple in our late forty's and can't tell you how much fun we are having for £5!

Susan Fleming - Glasgow
It was the first one we've done and we'll be doing more. The only drawback was the torrential rain and being completely soaked through. Kids loved it and we went on to do the Tom O'Shanter Experience.

The Corners - Bulford
Thank you - your Exmoor Trail helped make a brilliant weekend and took us to some lovely places we might not otherwise have visited.

Darren, Deb, Jack, George, Savannah - Devon

Have just completed the Dartmoor Trail. Once again a fantastic day spent in areas right on our doorstep that we would never have visited had it not been for your Trails. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and dare I say it " I think we are hooked!! " Cannot wait for the next weekend so that we can do another one.

Jo - Honiton

We did the Honiton Trail today and it was brilliant fun - this was our first trail and the whole family (including the dog!) thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this to a friend.

Bridget - Devon

We had a brilliant time on the Totnes Trail  and were so pleased that we got the right answer! Nearly spoilt the surprise by not going into the entrance of the castle but the two ladies called us back and showed us where the clue was hidden.  I'm already planning when I might get the family together again to tackle Teignmouth! Thank you so much for your kindness and when someone next says they don't know what to do for a day out I will certainly recommend Treasure Trails.

Darren - Devon

Our first trail today with my wife, Deb, son Jack,6, son George 5 and daughter Savannah 18 months. We did the Ivybridge trail as a starter to see if we would like to continue doing these, what excellent value for money for a great afternoon of mystery with my hyperactive kids. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would have no hesitation in recommending your site and trails to anyone.

Somerset Organised Event

The hen night Trail you organised for us was absolutely FANTASTIC - thank you so much - it really was one of the highlights of the weekend! Jo & all the hens really enjoyed it all - they were so impressed by the layout of all the materials and we all were amazed by how pretty some parts of Taunton are! Thanks ever so much again.

Mark and Val Burnell - Cornwall
We have just completed our second trail which was at Polperro. We had a fantastic warm spring day and all thoroughly enjoyed discovering the answers and the nooks and crannies around Polperro. We took 3 children, two of which were teenage (13) year old boys and they were kept very entertained throughout!! Must also compliment you on such a user friendly website - well done!!

Janet Borris - Scotland

Thank you for an enjoyable family walk. We saw parts of Helensburgh that we had not noticed before. Our nine year old enjoyed the walk with a purpose and our two year old enjoyed the walk in and out of his buggy. Again thanks for a unique and brilliant family entertainment idea. Would recommend to friends.

Jill Wadge - Devon

I would just like to say thank you for your fantastic murder mystery walking trail for Plymouth. My husband and I (both in our late 30's!) did the trail this afternoon and had a great time. I thought it would be really easy but we had to work to find some of the answers! It was great to see part of the city in a completely new light and also learn something new.
Thank you!

Tracey Waygood - Devon
We have recently completed the Tavistock, Devon trail and the three of us really enjoyed the experience of working together and learning about a town we previously had never visited.  A great time spent with a 10 year old out in the sunshine instead of in front of a tv!  Thanks.

G Hay - Cornwall
Today we have thoroughly enjoyed the Lostwithiel Murder Mystery Walking Trail. We have had such a fun day and can't wait to do the other 2 we have (Penryn and Penzance). We cannot praise you highly enough for the entertainment value - what an excellent idea.

When we had completed our 'sleuthing' we retired for lunch in the Globe - which was excellent too! Keep up the good work and thank you again for enabling us to have such a good day.

Mrs Hearn - Dorset
I received the Fordington Borough Gardens murder mystery trail for my birthday, 28th Dec 08. It was fantastic, we had an age group from 21 to 78 and everyone enjoyed it. We have all lived here all our lives and have just seen things we never noticed before.  I also had the Poundbury trail for christmas and can't wait to go out and explore!  Thank you for such a great idea.

Ruth - Dorset
Had not heard of you before but were given a Trail as a Christmas Present. Had good fun walking off the xmas overindulgences and although we know Lyme Regis quite well, the Trail still led us to places we had not visited before. A wonderful idea - already buying more!

Lindsey - Totnes

I am very impressed with the quality of the Totnes trail. Fun for all of the boys (aged 7-14). We saw parts of my home town I've never seen and had a great walk and great fun. We will be doing others. Thank you!!

Reverend Steven Smith - Devon
My wife Gill and I really enjoyed the Grand Western Canal Cycling Trail.  It encouraged us to hire bikes and partake in unaccustomed exercise with the resulting aching muscles!  We so enjoyed the opportunity to cycle once more that two days later we bought a brand new bicycle each!  How’s that for having an effect on people! We are now looking forward somewhat eagerly for any more cycle trails that you do!

Joan Walker - Scottish Power organised event
We had a great day!!  Everyone in our team of 14 had a fantastic time and we all feel that we know a bit more about each other.

Fiona Bradbury - organised event - Scotland West
A big thank you for an excellent day. We all had so much fun.
Everything was superb from the laser, to the lunch and then the trail. It was also very well coordinated. Thanks David. I would recommend this to anyone.

Rachel Evans - Worcester
I think it’s a great idea, and we saw all kinds of interesting aspects to Worcester which we would never have noticed otherwise; it prompts you to look above shopfront level and see what the buildings were originally designed for, which was fascinating. I think it would appeal to any age from 8 to 80.

Liz Vaughan - Fowey
Very Good Trail, well described and interesting.  Thank you.

Julia Hawkes-Moore- Herefordshire
Thank you! We just successfully completed the Bromyard Treasure Trail with my sons (11 & 13). It was very pleasant: I grew up in Bromyard but the trail took me to places I have not visited for years! Please do a Spy and Murder mystery trail for Bromyard for us to try out! The boys had twice as much exercise as I did from running ahead to discover the clues!
Great idea: we will be doing more trails in the near future!

Mike, Maria & Newton Norsworthy
Just come home from two weeks in our Motorhome, completed the Fort William trail in Scotland and the Exmouth Trail in Devon in the same week, must be a distance record!! Very enjoyable pursuit and highly recomended.

Joyce Palmer- Cornwall
My partner and I have just completed the Lands End Treasure Trail
- we had the most fabulous time! Thanks for the note on the Lands End site where the clue was missing - it helped!! Looking forward to doing many more.

Rodney Pearce and friends- St Austell
Just want to say that we really enjoyed your Mevagissey Trail and can't wait to do the next one. The whole family found it enjoyable from youngest to eldest, what a great idea.

Mrs Cathy Griffin - Sidmouth
A rainy day in Sidmouth did not dampen the spirits and the Treasure Trail here was fab, kids loved looking for the clues and we got to see more than usual I think of this seaside resort.

Shirley Davidson - Stonehaven
Fantastic way to get know a place. Found a few hidden treasures along the way.

Alan Lothian - Dunoon
Very good fun - did the Stirling trail which took us to bits we hadn't seen before. The trail in our hometown was surprising - again finding a few items we didn't know existed.
Website very user friendly - well done

Roger Hammett - Plymouth
An excellent day out with a very well constructed treasure trail.

Lynn Dickson - Glasgow
We have just returned from an amazing murder mystery hen weekend in Glasgow, all of which was organised by David at Treasure Trails, West Scotland and which of course included a fantastic trail through the centre of Glasgow! We had a fabulous weekend and our hen had an unforgettable and very memorable experience. We would strongly recommend any other groups considering a weekend of great fun and activity to sign up with you!!
Thank you very much for everything!

Gemma Fowler - Devon
We did the Topsham treasure trail today as a family. Brilliant fun, we all enjoyed it. Although we only live 10 minutes away we saw parts of Topsham we didn't know existed, it really made us look around but at the same time appreciate the surroundings. Our ages ranged from 7 up to 50 and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be doing another one soon. Thank you.

Tom Parnell - Launceston
I'm 6 Yrs old and I did this with my auntie, uncle and cousins. It was a great day out. We had great fun running around finding the names.

Mrs J Jackson - Helston
Many thanks. Once again we had a thoroughly  wonderful afternoon out yesterday, and managed hopefully to find all the clues and answers, and a lovely cup of tea in St Just.
We look forward to our next trip out, keep up the good work!

Kirstie Jones - Devon
I just want to let you know how enjoyable we find these trails and how many hours/days of fun we have had.  What a fabulous idea and such fun for everyone.  The trails take you to streets and places that even if you know a place - you didn't know existed or you might not have passed.  It is great that you can now obtain them too from TIC and other places.  A big thank you.

The Bucklands- West Sussex
Just returned from a very windy, cold few days at our caravan in St Issey. Came across your trails in Wadebridge and bought the Bodmin Moor one. We had a great day, and are hooked. A wonderful unique idea. Well done to all concerned. We will definitely be doing another one soon and recommending them to all our friends.

Brenda Peck -Lizard Trail
Thoroughly enjoyed the treasure trail. We took a picnic and made a day of it.

Linda  Lewis  Exeter
What a great idea! My 10 year old daughter and I came across this in Exeter's Visitors Information Centre and thought it would be a good way of seeing the town instead of aimlessly wandering around. The clues were great, not too easy, not too hard. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Keep up the good work.

Christine Coombes Sidmouth
It was a great Mothers' Day out though and we had loads of fun doing it.  Dartmoor is the next one on our list of many!  Thanks for a fantastic idea!

Joe Horton - USA
My girlfriend and I LOVE the Treasure Trails! They always make for a very fun and engaging journey and a terrific way to discover new parts of the country. I highly recommend them to everyone who's game for an adventure.

Isobel (mum) and Flora (aged 8) - Devon
We have just completed the Dartmouth Treasure Trail. What a great way to spend an afternoon outside. The Trail is a great way to keep the children interested and willing to walk for a while. This one is a great one because you can stop for coffee/lunch and then go back to it. We would recommend it for any age group. Looking forward to the next one.

L Whitton - Dunoon

Really enjoyed your Dunoon trail - our group age ranged from 7 to 70 and all added their bit!  Well done for a novel way of spending an afternoon. Good luck with your business venture and we look forward to trying some more further afield.

P Garrett - Newton Abbot

We thoroughly enjoyed our day out walking around Totnes; the Treasure Trails are an excellent idea and entertained my young niece and nephew.

Sandra M - S Lanarkshire

While on holiday in Dunoon recently, I saw the treasure trail for the town and decided to buy it. My mother thought the £5 was a bit steep to begin with but after I took my 12 year old daughter and her friend and disappeared for the day, she thought it was great!! I feel confident about going back to Dunoon and walking round the town because I know I will not get lost. The treasure trail was well worth the money.

S Holmes - London
We have just come back from Cornwall where we completed the Falmouth murder mystery trail. It solved the problem of a grey and showery afternoon and although we had already visited Falmouth it took us to lots of areas we hadn't discovered and we found out lots about the town too! My son especially enjoyed it - it was just the right degree of difficulty - not too easy but not impossible either. Many thanks!!

S George - Cornwall
Did Newquay trail. I live here but did it with friends from B'ham. Hilarious!

Nicki B - Newquay

We really enjoyed participating in this..myself and my 2
daughters..18 and 19. It meant that we wandered around other places in Newquay that we wouldn't have explored otherwise.

D Dykes - Newcastle upon Tyne

Just to thank you for adding something special to our recent holiday in Polperro. My partner and I did the Polperro and Looe trails and we very much enjoyed them. The trails turned a couple of "walk about" days
into something special, made exploration fun and we learned so much about the two towns - the trails turned learning into fun. We will certainly use Treasure Trails again. Excellent and many thanks.

W Collins - Devon

My husband and I completed the Dartmoor MM today.
We thoroughly enjoyed it, taking us to places new and old.

Wilson Family - Cornwall

We have just completed the Lizard trail. We had a great afternoon exploring bits of Cornwall we never knew exisited, even though they were so close to where we live. We started the trail at around 3.30pm. This meant we were perfectly timed for a fantstic evening meal in The Old Lifeboat House in Coverack - family friendly food and a superb view across the bay.

H Wilfer - Germany

Thank you for organizing such a trail it was real fun solving the clues.
