The Lewes Treasure Hunt Trail takes you around this famous historical town which lies on the Greenwich Meridian Line, nestled in the South Downs. You will explore the magnificent Priory Park with the Priory of St Pancras ruins, the beautiful Southover Gardens and magnificent surroundings of Lewes Castle. On the Trail you will see views of the Downs to take your breath away whilst you share in the everyday life of this busy market town.
We recommend suitable footwear for a 1.5 hour walk. There are a few steps along the way, most of them in the Gardens, and there is one steep lane to walk up.
