East Grinstead
The Trail takes you around the historical sights of the Old Town. You take in the splendour of the famous buildings of the High Street. You pass the magnificent sandstone Sackville College and the well-known Tower behind it. Beautiful St Swithun's church is in the centre of the Trail. You also pass the modern style Town Museum with artefacts from the dinosaur age to present day. At the time of writing admission to the museum is free. East Grinstead is the only place where East and West Sussex meet Surrey and Kent. The Greenwich Meridian line also runs through the town.
The Trail is suitable for pushchairs and we recommend suitable footwear for a one hour walk.
