YOUR MISSION
The evil genius, Dr Madden-Badd, in his quest for even greater wealth, has planted a device which will destroy The De La Warr Pavilion. He believes that King Arthur’s treasure remains buried beneath it and wants to lay claim to it. Archaeologists and geologists refute this and fear that this iconic building will be destroyed if Dr Madden-Badd’s wicked plot is not foiled. Can you discover the secret code to de-activate the bomb?
Bexhill-On-Sea
The Trail starts on the magnificent spacious sea front of Bexhill-On-Sea with its expanse of sand at low tide. Along the way you will discover Bexhill’s important place in British Motor Racing history. You will experience the iconic De La Warr Pavilion and Colonnade as you take in the traditional and contemporary sea side gardens, homes and promenade. Along the way you explore Egerton Park with its many facilities for outdoor and indoor play and where in the past primitive boats have been discovered, one of the many reasons why Bexhill Museum is at the Park. The Trail ends 0.26 miles west of its start point and a little further on beyond the Trail and up Galley Hill you can experience views and walks along the cliff top and beaches with more sea side heritage.
The Trail is suitable for pushchairs. We recommend suitable footwear for a 1.8 mile walk. There are places along the way where a picnic can be enjoyed as well as refreshment outlets.
