  • YOUR CASE

The fair is in town, and everybody is having a good time, except underworld boss Stanley Knife, who was down from the city for a day out with his mob. His body was found in the ghost train. Everybody agreed that he made a very realistic corpse. Local policeman, PC World suspects foul play, and the culprit is one of his seedy gang, who has left a trail of clues around Oxted. Can you help find out 'whodunit' before they go back to the smoke?

    Oxted

Situated near Surrey’s eastern border with Kent, the historic village of Old Oxted boasts a main High Street lined with 17th and 18th century cottages.

The building of the railway station in the 1880s encouraged the development of small houses and villas, and a new centre grew up around the station about ½ mile to the north-east of Old Oxted.

The Trail visits both Oxted and Old Oxted, it covers about two miles and you should allow between two and two and a half hours to complete it. There are some hills, but they are long rather than steep and as such, are less noticeable.
