The charning riverside town of Woodbridge is the perfect setting for the first of many Treasure Trails in Suffolk. It has river walks, a Tide Mill, a thriving boating community, historic buildings, striking churches, an imposing abbey, destination pubs cafes and restaurants, a wide variety of independent shops stocking the best produce that rural Suffolk can offer, and two museums - a town museum with a permanent Sutton Hoo display and the Suffolk Horse Museum featuring one of the oldest English breeds of horse, the Suffolk Punch.
The Woodbridge Treasure Trail will be available in May and provides the ideal way of discovering the many highlights of Woodbridge. It will take you round the town in a way that's fun, educational and exciting for all ages. Treasure Trails are designed to reveal the secrets of the destination you visit in the course of a walk that lasts around two hours. We'll direct you around the town giving you clues to solve along the way until you have reached the end and found the treasure.
We'll let you know here as soon as the Trail is available so that the thousands of seasoned Treasure Trailers around the country can now add Suffolk to their map, and Suffolk residents can now join in the fun.
