  • YOUR CASE

Whilst tending the flowerbeds in Wellington's award winning park, Head Parkkeeper, Mrs Rose Grower, met an untimely death. The finger of suspicion has been pointed at rival horticulturalists from nearby villages keen to scupper the town's chances of more awards. Can you solve the mystery before another gardener sows their last seed?

    Wellington

Wellington is a small country town standing between the River Tone and the beautiful Blackdown Hills.
The earliest reference to the town is to be found in a grant made between 899 and 909 where it was called "Weolinton". The town is also mentioned in the Domesday Book referred to as "Walintone".
The town was also involved in the Monmouth Rebellion and is also closely associated with the Duke of Wellington.
The association is explored in the Trail!

The Trail is flat and about 2 miles long and takes about 2 hours to complete.
It is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
You will explore the Town and also visit Wellington's award winning park.
