YOUR CASE
Boozy Capt Drinksalot returned from a plundering trip laden with loot. He moored up under cover of darkness intending to sail to a secret island to store his booty the next morning. At daybreak he realised he had blundered, the tide had gone out and he was stranded in the tidal lake. Feeling very vulnerable he quickly came ashore and buried his illgotten gains, marking their location on a treasure map. Can you discover where?
Clevedon
Clevedon is a lovely seaside town with plenty to offer for all ages. It has a pebbled shoreline overlooked by wonderful Victorian architecture. The grade 1 listed pier dates from 1869 and is frequently visited by the Waverly paddle steamer and the Balmoral pleasure cruiser in the summer months when visitors can enjoy a cruise down the Somerset and Devon coast and to Wales. There are beautiful coastal walks in the area which have been the inspiration for many great writers including Tennyson, Thackeray and Coleridge. The Salthouse fields on the seafront offer children's entertainment and refreshments for all.
The Trail is 2.75 miles in length and does incorporate some short inclines. There are three small flights of steps so unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchairs although would be manageable with a light buggy. You will start and finish near to the pier where there is plenty of parking. Refreshments and toilets are available along the route.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
Spent very pleasant morning seeing parts of Clevedon we hadn't seen before. Good clues and answers were obvious when found.
