YOUR CASE
The eccentric self-styled Laird of North Mull, Cecil Worthington-Smythe, was yesterday found dead at his dining table by his butler. Last week, it was reported that Worthington-Smythe was the father of a famous popstar's child. Police suspect foul play and are appealing for help from members of the public. Your job is to folow the clues around North Mull to find out "whodunnit" and with what weapon.
North Mull
The Isle of Mull is the second largest of the Inner Hebrides. Easily accesible by ferry from 3 points on the Scottish mainland, there is much for the visitor to explore on Mull. From the pretty, pastel coloured buildings around the harbour at Tobermory, to the mountainous interior. From the rugged north west, to the peaceful and beautiful Isle of Iona. Wherever you choose to visit on Mull, you are sure to come away with lasting memories of this lovely island.
The Murder Mystery Trail takes you on a drive around the rugged and picturesque area of North Mull. Starting in Tobermory, you will visit Dervaig, The Old Byre Heritage Centre, Calgary Bay, and many more places in between before finishing in Salen. Please note that the road is mostly single track and very twisty in places. Therefore you should allow at least 4 hours to complete the Trail. The total driving distance is 35 miles with approximately 1.5 miles of walking, some over potentially wet and muddy paths.
