YOUR CASE
Local residents were shocked to learn of the untimely demise of local bank manager Angus P McTavish. Foul play is suspected, especially since it has been revealed that Mr McTavish had a rather murky past, and there are many suspects for the murder.
Can you follow the trail of clues and find out "whodunnit" and with what weapon?
Dunoon
Situated on the scenic Cowal Peninsula, Dunoon is considered the marine gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Reached by road or by ferry from Gourock, Dunoon was, in its heyday, a bustling Victorian seaside resort, evidence of which still remains in its original Victorian pier.
The Dunoon Murder Mystery Trail leads you on a scenic circuit exploring Castle Gardens, the promenade, the High Kirk, the town centre and some of the town's residential streets with their splendid Victorian architecture. The majority of the trail is fairly level and makes for a gentle stroll. It does involve one climb up a set of steps to the flagpole to solve a clue, returning the way you came (you will be rewarded with a lovely view!) and one fairly steep descent down the road at Kirk Brae. Distance : 2 miles. Time : Allow at least 2 hours
