  • YOUR CASE

Local well-known fishing guide Angus D. McSalmon's body was yesterday fished out of the river Teith. Police suspect foul play, as there were more than fishing weights weighing his body down. Rumour has it that he had made many enemies in the area over the years. Your job is to follow the trail of clues around Callander to find out "whodunnit" and with what weapon.

    Callander

Callander sits on the banks of the River Teith at the eastern end of the Trossachs and forms one of the main gateways to the Highlands. Traditionally in Perthshire, but now officially in Stirlingshire, Callander is at the heart of Rob Roy country and here you will find the excellent Rob Roy and Trossachs Visitor Centre. In an area of breathtakingly beautiful scenery, the town is popular year round with day trippers and makes an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area.

The Callander Murder Mystery Trail will lead you on a loop exploring much of Callander's Main Street, river front and quieter back streets. It follows pavements and walkways and is suitable for all. Distance : 2miles. Allow 2 hours.
