Following a local street festival in Lanark town centre, fast food vendors Chris P Bacon and Barbie Cue have been found dead in a ditch behind their mobile van. Their takings had been stolen. Lanark
Lanark is a small, attractive town in the central belt of Scotland. Although the area is perhaps best known for New Lanark, a nearby complex of cotton mills and housing built along and powered by the River Clyde and recognised as a World Heritage Site, Lanark itself has a long history and interesting old traditions, notably Lanimer Day. With excellent public transport links, it has plenty to offer the day visitor including a High Street full of shops and cafes, and some fine parks and buildings.
This Murder Mystery Walking Trail is about 2.5 miles long and should take approximately 2.5 hours to complete. Due to narrow pavements and some steep areas, it is not recommended for wheelchairs though should be manageable for most pushchairs.
