  • YOUR CASE

On the eve of publishing his article on local corruption, Ayrton Crier has been found dead behind his newspaper office. Police suspect foul play. Detective Laura Norder has recovered his notebook with clues in it that will point to the perpetrator. She needs your help to find this murderer. Can you solve the clues? If so you could win a prize!

    Ayr

Ayr is a truly wonderful Scottish town. It is steeped in history - from the days of Bruce and Wallace, through to the Civil War and Cromwell, and industrially as a major shipbuilding and fishing town.

Ayr is the largest coastal town in South West Scotland and is a large conurbation as well as being a major tourist destination. In summer months the population can swell by 15%. But it's the people of Ayr that are the real jewels. Thoroughly warm and welcoming, they are proud of their town. And rightly so - it has much to offer including a great variety of hotels, restaurants, cafes, shops and leisure activities.

This Murder Mystery Walking Trail will take you on a fascinating route around many of Ayr's historic attractions. It is approximatley 2 miles long and should take about 2 hours to complete. Unfortunately it is unsuitable for wheelchairs and may be difficult for pushchairs as there is a flight of 12 steps as well as some cobbled streets on the way.
