  • YOUR CASE

Career criminal Rob Deritch has been arrested by police. Before his arrest, he buried a treasure chest containing a large quantity of rubies, emeralds and diamonds stolen from a local jeweller, Ivor Fortune. You have obtained a map with clues leading to the location of these precious jewels. Can you solve these clues and help the police to find the missing treasure?

    Newton Mearns

Newton Mearns is a small suburban town in East Renfrewshire and is part of the Greater Glasgow conurbation. It is primarily a residential area offering a wide range of shops principally at The Avenue shopping centre.

This Treasure Trail is approximately 2.5 miles long and should take about 2 hours to complete. It is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, though some of the paving slabs in the churchyard are a little uneven.
