Arran - Brodick
The Isle of Arran is situated in the Firth of Clyde in the south west of Scotland. With its east coast only 14 miles off the Ayrshire mainland, the 1 hour ferry journey from Ardrossan takes you to Brodick where this Trail and Arran's 2 driving / cycling Trails begin.
Brodick is the second-largest village on the island. It sits in Brodick Bay below Goat Fell, the tallest mountain on Arran. Brodick is a popular holiday destination and tourism provides much of the village's economic base. There are many family-owned and independent businesses, such as shops, bed and breakfast establishments, guest houses and outdoor activities.
This walking Murder Mystery is just over 2 miles long and should take approximatley 2 hours to complete. The route includes part of The Fisherman's Walk which would be difficult to negotiate with a wheelchair but possible with a pushchair.
