Scotland Southeast

Great Days Out in Edinburgh, Lothians and Borders.

A series of exciting puzzle trails have been produced throughout Falkirk, Edinburgh, Lothians and the Borders for you to enjoy with your family or group of friends.

With 18 trails, including 4 in Scotland's capital, in a variety of locations

  • coastal 
  • rural 
  • historic interest
  • riverside 
  • city 
  • small towns

there is sure to be something of interest for everyone.

Scotland South East Trails

All Trails can be completed on foot. Most are approx 2 miles long with the exceptions:

- Selkirk/Galashiels and Falkirk Trails contain cycle directions between the different clue locations

- The shortest Trail is Edinburgh Royal Mile. At 1 mile long it is perfect for keeping younger children involved or as an introduction to Treasure Trails.

- The longest Trail, at 3.25 miles is in Hawick and explores the town reiver history.

All Trails printed or downloaded from April 2010 include details of how to obtain the answers, should you need assistance, while on a Trail, through use of the free text service.

If you have a Trail that doesn't include this detail please do contact us by telephone, text message or e-mail and we will help you out.
